ABOUT
Hello, I am Sumudu and I am a freelance fiction editor, medical writer, beta reader and general book addict.

My passion for the written word started at a young age, when I devoured any book I could get my hands on. Now I help authors tell their stories and connect with their readers confidently.

I love engaging with the projects I work on, and my philosophy as an editor is to bring out the very best in a writer’s work by helping to refine words and/or elements of story to ensure the work resonates with readers. I am strongly committed to preserving a writer's style, voice, and creative insight in all projects I work on.

I have a PhD in biological sciences from the University of Adelaide. My background helps me bring a high level of objective precision to the projects I work on.
